The gentle thrill of an opulent bouquet of flowers; the sensation of an exquisite garden; or the effortlessness of a quiet landscape offer a glimpse into the paintings of Jacquelyn Fox. Her resolute excitement for capturing the best moments of life - a parade of newly opened blooms or the splendor of a magnificent countryside - capture the essence of a season-less romance. A colorist with a compulsion for restrained texture, Jacquelyn's vibrant brush-strokes and gentle palate knifing offer a sense of frosted vibration to the viewer. A native Californian, Jacquelyn approaches each canvas with the same adventure and exuberance with which she approaches life. The interpretive nature of her paintings invite the viewer to experience their own personal myriad of emotions or memories. She creates what many call "feel good" art, and her mission is to bring joy into people's lives and homes. Jacquelyn received her B.A. in Fine Arts from California State University Northridge, and an M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University. Having been a successful photographer and studio owner for more than a decade, her experience contributed to the focus, clarity, discipline and vision of her paintings today. Jacquelyn's painting studio in Los Angeles is a deliberate Eden, where her surroundings demonstrate an insistent and daily commitment to organic luxury. A member of the California Art Club, The International Society Of Acrylic Painters, and the Allied Artists Of The Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore, Jacquelyn continues to attend art-related workshops, classes, and seminars. She paints regularly with other contemporary artists, and loves visiting art galleries and museums when time permits. Her travels, both domestically and abroad, serve as an inspiration for her art. Jacquelyn's paintings hang in private collections throughout the country. For more information about Jacquelyn's paintings, please contact her directly. |
